John Taylor (footballer, born 1926)

John Taylor (born 12 July 1926, date of death unknown) was an English professional footballer who played as a right-back.

Career

Taylor began his career with Wolverhampton Wanderers, making his debut in 1948. He featured in a number of first-team matches before moving to Walsall in 1952. He made over 100 league appearances for Walsall before joining Shrewsbury Town in 1957. Taylor retired from professional football shortly after.
