Chris Kane (footballer, born 1994)

Chris Kane (born 15 September 1994) is a Scottish professional footballer who plays as a striker for Scottish Championship club Dunfermline Athletic.

Kane began his professional career with St Johnstone, progressing through their youth academy. He made his first-team debut for St Johnstone in 2011 and has had numerous loan spells to gain experience, including periods with Dumbarton, Alloa Athletic, Brechin City, and Greenock Morton.

During his time at St Johnstone, Kane was part of the squad that won the Scottish Cup in 2021, although he missed the final through injury. He was known for his work rate and physical presence as a forward.

In June 2024, Kane signed for Dunfermline Athletic, marking a new chapter in his career after a long association with St Johnstone.
