Au Pair (film series)
The Au Pair film series is a collection of made-for-television films centered on a businesswoman who unexpectedly hires a male au pair to care for her children. The series blends romantic comedy with family-oriented themes.
The original film, Au Pair (1999), stars Heidi Lenhart as Jenny Morgan, a driven executive who hires Oliver Caldwell, played by Gregory Harrison, as a live-in nanny for her two children in order to advance her career. Oliver is initially hired to impress Jenny's boss by posing as her children’s father, but he soon becomes a genuine caregiver.
Following the success of the first film, two sequels were produced: Au Pair II (2001) and Au Pair 3: Adventure in Paradise (2009). Au Pair II continues the story of Jenny and Oliver as they navigate their developing relationship and deal with new challenges, including Oliver's aristocratic family and potential romantic rivals. Au Pair 3: Adventure in Paradise sees the family traveling to Puerto Rico, where they encounter new adventures and deepen their bonds.
The films are known for their lighthearted storylines, picturesque locations, and focus on the importance of family. The series has aired on networks such as ABC Family (now Freeform).
