John Linn (politician)
John Linn (born circa 1798, died October 7, 1859) was an American physician and politician. He served as a U.S. Representative from Illinois.

Political Career
Linn was elected as a Democrat to the Twenty-eighth Congress, serving from March 4, 1843, to March 3, 1845. He represented Illinois's 7th congressional district. Later Life and Death
After his term in Congress, Linn returned to Illinois. He died on October 7, 1859, and is buried in Palestine Cemetery, Palestine, Illinois.
