John Garrett (rower)
John Garrett is an American rower who competed in the 1952 Summer Olympics in Helsinki, Finland. He was a member of the American crew that won the bronze medal in the coxed four event. The crew consisted of Garrett, Allen Morgan, Martin McKinley, Harlan Thompson, and coxswain Warren Westlund. They finished behind crews from Czechoslovakia and Switzerland. Garrett also rowed for the University of Washington, where he was part of a successful rowing program. After his rowing career, Garrett pursued a career outside of athletics.
