Overseas (band)

Overseas is an American indie rock supergroup formed in 2013. The band consists of David Bazan (Pedro the Lion, Headphones), Will Johnson (Centro-matic, South San Gabriel), Matt and Bubba Kadane (Bedhead, The New Year).

The band's sound is characterized by its melancholic and introspective lyrics, layered vocals, and atmospheric instrumentation, drawing heavily from their respective bands' established styles while creating a distinct sonic identity.

Overseas released their self-titled debut album in 2013 on Temporary Residence Limited. The album received critical acclaim for its songwriting, musicianship, and emotional depth. The band toured in support of the album, playing select shows in North America.

In 2023, Overseas released their second album, ”Carousel Music” on Temporary Residence Limited.
