John Gabriel (athlete)

John Gabriel is a South African former field hockey player who competed internationally for South Africa. He primarily played as a midfielder. Gabriel represented South Africa in two Summer Olympic Games: Sydney 2000 and Athens 2004. He was also a member of the South African national team that participated in multiple World Cup tournaments and other international competitions throughout his career. Following his playing career, he has been involved in hockey coaching and development programs in South Africa.
