Jimmy Milne (Australian footballer)
Jimmy Milne (born 15 July 1908, died 19 October 1993) was an Australian rules footballer who played for St Kilda in the Victorian Football League (VFL).
Milne was a versatile player who primarily played as a defender and follower (ruckman). He debuted for St Kilda in 1929 and played 142 games for the club over eleven seasons. He was a consistent performer for the Saints and was known for his strong marking and physical presence.
Milne represented Victoria in interstate football on one occasion.
Following his playing career, Milne remained involved in Australian rules football. Details of his post-playing career activities are limited, but it is known he maintained an interest in the sport. He died in 1993, leaving behind a legacy as a reliable and durable player for St Kilda during a challenging period for the club.
