Jim Morton (politician)

Jim Morton is a former American politician from the state of Montana. He served as a Republican member of the Montana House of Representatives, representing House District 96 (Missoula County) from 2015 to 2023. During his tenure, Morton served on several committees, including the House Judiciary Committee, the House State Administration Committee, and the House Natural Resources Committee. He often focused on issues related to water rights, natural resource management, and public safety. Prior to his legislative service, Morton worked in the private sector. He did not seek re-election in 2022.
