Jigsaw (novel)
Jigsaw is a thriller novel written by Will Lavender, published in 2012. The story centers around three college students – Curtis, Gwen, and Jane – who are obsessed with a fictional literary character named Kurt Vonnegut. They believe that Vonnegut's books contain clues to a series of unsolved murders known as the "Jigsaw Murders."
The three students, enrolled in a class on the graphic novel Watchmen, become convinced that a new series of killings is about to begin, mirroring the pattern in Vonnegut’s works. They decide to use their knowledge of literature and puzzle-solving skills to identify and stop the killer before another murder takes place. As they delve deeper into the mystery, they uncover a complex web of secrets and conspiracies, blurring the lines between reality and fiction. The novel explores themes of obsession, the power of storytelling, and the dangers of interpreting art too literally.
