Jerome Davis (bull rider)
Jerome Davis is a retired professional bull rider who competed in the Professional Bull Riders (PBR) and Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA). Born November 14, 1968, he is best known for his highly successful career and his unwavering faith, which he openly shared.
Davis began his bull riding career in his teens and quickly rose through the ranks. He was a PRCA World Champion bull rider in 1995. In 1999, at a PBR event in Fort Worth, Texas, Davis sustained a severe spinal cord injury that left him paralyzed from the chest down, ending his competitive career.
Despite his injury, Davis remained a prominent figure in the bull riding community. He became a motivational speaker, sharing his story of faith and resilience. He also became involved in breeding bucking bulls. His bulls have competed successfully at PBR events. Davis is widely respected for his contributions to the sport both before and after his accident. He continues to be an inspiration to many within and outside of the bull riding world.
