Jennifer Love (chemist)

Jennifer Love is an American chemist and professor at the University of British Columbia (UBC) specializing in the development of new methods for the detection, quantification, and visualization of lipids and proteins. Her research focuses on applying these methods to complex biological systems, particularly in the context of health and disease.

Dr. Love received her B.S. in Chemistry from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and her Ph.D. in Chemistry from Harvard University. She subsequently conducted postdoctoral research at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) before joining the faculty at UBC.

Her lab's research includes the development of novel chemical reporters and probes for lipid imaging using mass spectrometry and fluorescence microscopy.
