Júnior (footballer, born 1977)
Júnior, full name Jenílson Ângelo de Souza, (born June 20, 1977) is a Brazilian former professional footballer who played as a defensive midfielder.
He is most notably known for his time playing for Parma in Italy, where he won the Coppa Italia in 1999 and the UEFA Cup in 1999. He also played for São Paulo in Brazil, winning the Campeonato Paulista in 1998 and the Torneio Rio-São Paulo in 2001.
Júnior also had spells with Atlético Mineiro and Palmeiras in Brazil, as well as Siena in Italy. He represented the Brazil national team on 12 occasions. Following his retirement from playing, he has worked as a football coach.
