József Tóth (footballer, born 1951)

József Tóth (born December 2, 1951) is a retired Hungarian footballer who played as a defender.

Career

Tóth spent his entire club career in Hungary. He is best known for his time with Újpesti Dózsa, where he played for many years and won several Hungarian League titles. He also played for Pécsi MSC.

International Career

Tóth was a member of the Hungarian national team. He represented Hungary at the 1978 FIFA World Cup in Argentina, where he played in all three of Hungary's group matches. He earned numerous caps for his country.
