Season of Glass (EP)

Season of Glass is the debut extended play (EP) by South Korean girl group GFriend. It was released on January 15, 2015, by Source Music and distributed by KT Music. The EP features five tracks, including the title track "Glass Bead" (유리구슬). The EP is considered the official debut of GFriend into the K-pop music scene.

Thematically, the EP aims to portray a youthful and innocent image, represented by the concept of "glass." Musically, "Glass Bead" and the other tracks on the EP feature a blend of pop melodies and energetic choreography, aiming for a refreshing sound.

Commercially, Season of Glass marked GFriend's entry onto the music charts. Although not an immediate chart-topper, it helped establish the group's initial fanbase and paved the way for their subsequent releases. The EP's success contributed to GFriend winning several rookie awards in 2015.
