Ittiri

Ittiri is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Sassari in the Italian region Sardinia, located about 160 kilometres (99 mi) north of Cagliari and about 15 kilometres (9 mi) southeast of Sassari.

Ittiri is primarily an agricultural center known for its artichoke production. The surrounding area features rolling hills and fertile plains, characteristic of the Logudoro sub-region of Sardinia. Historically, the area has been inhabited since prehistoric times, evidenced by the presence of Nuragic sites in the vicinity. The town's architecture reflects its Sardinian heritage, with buildings constructed from local stone.

Ittiri borders the following municipalities: Banari, Bessude, Florinas, Ossi, Putifigari, Thiesi, Uri, Usini, Villanova Monteleone.
