Justin Jackson (basketball, born 1995)
Justin Jackson (born March 28, 1995) is an American professional basketball player. He is primarily a small forward.
Jackson played college basketball for the University of North Carolina Tar Heels. During his time at North Carolina, he was a key player, known for his scoring ability and versatility. He helped lead the Tar Heels to the 2017 NCAA Championship, earning Most Outstanding Player honors for the tournament. He was also named a consensus All-American in his junior year (2017).
After a successful college career, Jackson was drafted by the Portland Trail Blazers with the 15th overall pick in the 2017 NBA draft, but was immediately traded to the Sacramento Kings. He has since played for several NBA teams, including the Sacramento Kings, Dallas Mavericks, Oklahoma City Thunder, Milwaukee Bucks, Boston Celtics, and Phoenix Suns. He has also played in the NBA G League for the Texas Legends, and in Europe for Virtus Bologna.
Throughout his professional career, Jackson has been recognized for his offensive skillset and ability to score from multiple positions.
