Boghal (arrondissement)
Boghal is an arrondissement of the Mayo-Danay department in the Far North Region of Cameroon. It is located in the northern part of the department, bordering Chad. The arrondissement is predominantly rural, with agriculture being the main economic activity. Major crops include sorghum, millet, and groundnuts. Livestock rearing is also significant.
The population is primarily composed of various ethnic groups, including the Massa and Mousgoum people. The area is characterized by a hot, semi-arid climate.
