Central District (Omidiyeh County)

The Central District of Omidiyeh County (Persian: بخش مرکزی شهرستان اميديه) is a district (bakhsh) in Khuzestan Province, Iran. Its administrative center is the city of Omidiyeh. At the 2006 census, its population was 84,626, in 16,823 families. The Central District has one city: Omidiyeh. It also contains two rural districts (dehestans): Chah Salem Rural District and Guzineh Rural District.
