Indigo (Wild Nothing album)
Indigo is the fourth studio album by American indie rock band Wild Nothing, released on August 31, 2018, through Captured Tracks.
The album marks a departure from some of Wild Nothing's earlier dream-pop sounds, incorporating elements of jangle-pop, sophisti-pop, and art rock. It was produced by Jorge Elbrecht, known for his work with artists such as Ariel Pink and No Age.
Lyrically, Indigo explores themes of memory, loss, and personal reflection. Frontman Jack Tatum has described the album as a more introspective and personal work compared to his previous releases.
The album received generally positive reviews from critics, who praised its sophisticated arrangements, lyrical depth, and Tatum's songwriting. Notable tracks include "Letting Go," "Partners in Motion," and "Canyon of Our Dreams."
