Mike Zito

Mike Zito is an American blues and blues-rock guitarist, singer, songwriter, and record producer. He is known for his prolific output of solo albums and collaborative projects, as well as his energetic live performances.

Born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri, Zito began playing guitar at a young age and was influenced by a wide range of blues and rock artists. He struggled with addiction early in his career but has been sober since 2005.

Zito's music blends traditional blues elements with rock and roll and Southern rock influences. He is known for his powerful guitar playing, soulful vocals, and honest songwriting, often drawing on personal experiences.

He has released numerous albums, including "Blue Room" (2005), "Pearl River" (2009), "Gone to Texas" (2011), "Rock N Roll: A Tribute to Chuck Berry" (2019), and "Resurrection" (2021). He was also a member of the Royal Southern Brotherhood, a blues-rock supergroup featuring Devon Allman and Cyril Neville. Zito has received multiple Blues Music Award nominations and won in 2022 for Blues Rock Album for "Resurrection."
