Hou Xun

Hou Xun (侯恂) (1593 – 1660) was a Ming dynasty official and scholar-official who lived during the transition from the Ming to the Qing dynasty. He is primarily known for his integrity, administrative abilities, and ultimately, his role in surrendering to the Qing.

Hou Xun served in various positions within the Ming bureaucracy, demonstrating competence in managing local affairs and implementing reforms. His career progressed steadily, earning him a reputation as an upright and capable official.
