Honne (band)

Honne is a British electronic music duo formed in 2014, based in London. The band consists of James Hatcher (producer) and Andy Clutterbuck (singer and multi-instrumentalist).

Honne's music is characterized by its smooth, soulful, and often melancholic sound, blending elements of electronic pop, R&B, and soul. The name "Honne" comes from the Japanese word hon'ne (本音), which translates to "true feelings" or "what one really feels," representing the honest and intimate nature of their songwriting.

The duo first gained attention through online platforms, releasing singles and EPs such as Warm on a Cold Night and All in the Value to critical acclaim. Their debut album, Warm on a Cold Night, was released in 2016, further solidifying their reputation for sophisticated electronic music.

Honne has released several subsequent albums, including Love Me / Love Me Not (2018), no song without you (2020), and Let's Just Say The World Ended A Week From Now, What Would You Do? (2021).
