Henry Miller House (Mossy Creek, Virginia)
The Henry Miller House is a historic home located near Mossy Creek, Augusta County, Virginia. It is a two-story, five-bay, brick Federal style dwelling built circa 1829. The house features a Flemish bond brick facade, a molded cornice, and a gabled roof. A one-story, frame, gabled-roofed wing extends from the rear of the main block.
The house is significant for its architecture, representing a well-preserved example of Federal-style domestic architecture in the Shenandoah Valley. It is also associated with the Miller family, early settlers of the area and prominent members of the local agricultural community. Henry Miller, the likely builder of the house, was a successful farmer and landowner.
