Harrysong

Harrysong (born Harrison Tare Okiri, March 30, 1981) is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, and instrumentalist. He rose to fame after his tribute song to Nelson Mandela won the "Most Downloaded Callertune Award" at The Headies 2013.

Harrysong is known for his distinctive vocal style and his songs often incorporate elements of highlife, afrobeats, and R&B. He is also known by the monikers Mr. Songz, AlterPlate Boss, and other variations.

His musical career began in the church, where he played drums and piano. He later moved into secular music, performing in nightclubs and eventually releasing his debut album, Testify, in 2012.

Key singles that have contributed to his popularity include "I'm in Love," "Taiye & Kehinde," "Beta Pikin," "Reggae Blues" featuring various artists, and "Arabanko."

Harrysong founded his own record label, AlterPlate Music, after leaving Five Star Music. He continues to release music and perform across Nigeria and internationally.
