Prague 8
Prague 8 is a municipal district (městská část) of Prague, Czech Republic. It is located to the north of the city center, on the right bank of the Vltava River. It includes the cadastral districts of Karlín, Libeň, Kobylisy, Bohnice, and parts of Žižkov, Troja, and Střížkov.
Historically, Prague 8 has been a diverse area ranging from industrial zones to residential neighborhoods. Karlín, known for its architecture and revitalized post-industrial landscape, is a significant part of the district. Libeň, another key cadastral district, offers a mix of older buildings and newer developments. Kobylisy and Bohnice are primarily residential areas further north.
