Sonia Bermúdez (footballer)

Sonia Bermúdez Tribano, commonly known as Sonia Bermúdez or simply Sonia, (born November 25, 1984) is a Spanish retired professional footballer who played primarily as a forward.

Throughout her career, Sonia played for several prominent clubs in Spain, including Rayo Vallecano, FC Barcelona, Atlético Madrid, and Levante UD. She is considered one of the most prolific goalscorers in the history of Spanish women's football.

Sonia enjoyed significant success with FC Barcelona, winning multiple league titles (Primera División) and Copa de la Reina titles. She also achieved similar success with Atlético Madrid Femenino.

Internationally, Sonia Bermúdez represented the Spanish national team. She participated in major tournaments, including the UEFA Women's European Championship and the FIFA Women's World Cup. She was a key player for Spain, contributing goals and experience to the squad.
