Harry Green (footballer, born 1860)
Harry Green (born 1860, date of death unknown) was an English footballer who played primarily as a full back during the early years of organised football.
Very little is known about Green's early life or career before his arrival at Wolverhampton Wanderers. He was a member of the Wolves team during their formative years in the late 19th century. Green played for Wolverhampton Wanderers in the FA Cup Finals of both 1889 and 1893, losing both matches. In the 1889 final, Wolves were defeated 3-0 by Preston North End. In the 1893 final, they lost 1-0 to Everton. He also played in the Football League, which Wolves were a founding member of.
His career details are sparse, reflecting the limitations of record-keeping during the period. After his time with Wolves, his career path and subsequent life are largely undocumented.
