Guess Who (film)

Guess Who is a 2005 American comedy film directed by Kevin Rodney Sullivan. It is a remake of the 1967 film Guess Who's Coming to Dinner.

The film stars Ashton Kutcher and Bernie Mac. It centers on Theresa Jones (played by Zoë Saldaña), who brings her fiancé, Simon Green (played by Ashton Kutcher), home to meet her parents for their 25th wedding anniversary. Theresa's father, Percy Jones (played by Bernie Mac), a successful businessman, is unaware that Simon is white.

The film explores themes of interracial relationships, prejudice, and family dynamics. Much of the comedy arises from Percy's initial disapproval of Simon and his attempts to uncover flaws in Simon's character and drive him away from Theresa. The film contrasts Percy's traditional values with the more progressive views of his wife, Marilyn (played by Judith Scott).
