Green Eyes (1977 film)

Green Eyes is a 1977 American made-for-television drama film directed by John Erman. It stars Paul Winfield, Rita Tushingham, and Eriq La Salle in his acting debut. The film was originally broadcast on ABC on March 7, 1977, as part of the ABC Monday Night Movie series.

The film tells the story of Lloyd Dubeck (Winfield), an American Vietnam War veteran who returns to Southeast Asia after the war to find his son, Phong, who was fathered with a Vietnamese woman during his tour of duty. His search takes him through refugee camps and the ravaged landscapes of Vietnam and Thailand. He faces bureaucratic obstacles and the lingering trauma of the war as he relentlessly seeks to reunite with his child.
