Gift (Kanjani Eight EP)

Gift is a Christmas-themed triple single EP released by Japanese boy band Kanjani Eight (関ジャニ∞) on December 23, 2009. The EP was released in three separate versions: "Shiro" (White), "Aka" (Red), and "Midori" (Green), each featuring different B-side tracks. All three versions contain the main track, "Gift ~shiro~" (Gift ~white~), written by Naohisa Taniguchi and arranged by Yoshihiko Nishimura.

Each version of Gift also includes a cover song as a B-side. "Shiro" features a cover of "SNOW WHITE" by DOMINO. "Aka" includes a cover of "Fuyu Koi" (Winter Love) by Kinki Kids. "Midori" has a cover of "Kimi dake wo Mitsumeteru" (I'll Be Looking at You) by Toon Zone.

The EP was a commercial success, charting high on the Oricon charts and contributing to Kanjani Eight's popularity. The individual releases allowed fans to purchase different versions to collect the various B-side tracks. Thematically, Gift explores themes of love, warmth, and connection during the Christmas season.
