Geremi
Geremi Njitap (born 20 December 1978), commonly known as Geremi, is a Cameroonian former professional footballer. Primarily a defensive midfielder, he was also capable of playing as a right-back or right midfielder, making him a versatile player.
Throughout his career, Geremi played for several prominent European clubs, including Real Madrid, Chelsea, and Newcastle United. He won two Premier League titles with Chelsea in 2005 and 2006, and two Champions League titles with Real Madrid in 2000 and 2002.
Geremi was also a key member of the Cameroon national team, earning over 100 caps. He won two Africa Cup of Nations titles in 2000 and 2002, as well as an Olympic gold medal in 2000. He was known for his powerful free kicks, work rate, and tactical awareness. His international career ended in 2010. He is considered one of Cameroon's greatest ever players.
