Holme (band)
Holme was a short-lived British rock band formed in the early 1970s. The band consisted of Peter Banks (guitar, ex-Yes), Billy Fiegal (vocals), Ian Wallace (drums, ex-King Crimson), and Ray Bennett (bass). Holme recorded a single album, Holme, released in 1974. The album featured a blend of progressive rock and hard rock elements. Despite featuring experienced musicians, the band did not achieve commercial success and disbanded shortly after the album's release. Their music is characterized by Banks' distinctive guitar work and Wallace's intricate drumming. The album remains a cult favorite among fans of progressive rock. After the breakup, the members went on to various other projects, most notably Ian Wallace's extensive session work and Peter Banks' subsequent solo career.
