Peter Freeman (footballer)
Peter Freeman is a former Australian rules footballer who played for the Collingwood Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL).
Career:
Freeman was drafted by Collingwood with pick 60 in the 2005 AFL Draft. He made his AFL debut in 2007. Predominantly a key defender, Freeman was known for his strong marking ability and contested ball winning. He played a number of consistent seasons for the Magpies, often assigned to some of the competition's most dangerous key forwards. Freeman was a member of Collingwood's 2010 AFL Grand Final Replay winning side, playing a crucial role in the backline. He was delisted by Collingwood at the end of the 2013 season.
