George Wright (bowls)

George Wright is a Scottish international lawn bowler.

Wright has represented Scotland in several major international bowls tournaments, including the World Bowls Championships and the Commonwealth Games. He was part of the Scottish team that won the bronze medal in the Fours event at the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow. In the 2022 Commonwealth Games, held in Birmingham, England, he secured a silver medal in the Triples event. He is also a multiple-time national champion in Scotland. His competitive success has made him a well-recognized figure within Scottish and international lawn bowls.
