George Saunders (footballer, born 1918)
George Saunders (born 28 January 1918, date of death unknown) was an English professional footballer who played as an outside right.
Saunders began his career with local non-league side New Milton Town before joining Football League Third Division South club Bournemouth & Boscombe Athletic in 1937. He made his professional debut that year and played for Bournemouth until the outbreak of World War II.
During the war, Saunders served in the armed forces. His football career was interrupted, and details of his postwar playing career, if any, are currently unclear. Further research is needed to determine if he played professionally after the war.
