Šuica (river)

The Šuica is a river located in Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is a karstic river that flows through the municipality of Tomislavgrad, in the Canton 10 of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The river is known for its relatively short course and is an important water source for the surrounding area. A significant portion of its course involves underground flow and re-emergence, characteristic of karstic hydrology. The Šuica ultimately flows into the Buško Lake. The river and its surrounding area are also of ecological importance, supporting various plant and animal species adapted to the unique karstic environment.
