Gary Holt (footballer)

Gary Holt (born 24 March 1973) is a Scottish former professional football player and manager.

Holt played primarily as a midfielder. His professional career spanned from 1992 to 2011, featuring appearances in both the Scottish and English leagues. He is most notably associated with Kilmarnock, where he had two spells as a player and also served as manager.

His playing career included stints at Stirling Albion, Kilmarnock, Stoke City, Norwich City, Nottingham Forest, and Wycombe Wanderers. He won the Scottish Cup with Kilmarnock in 1997.

Following his retirement as a player, Holt moved into coaching. He held assistant manager positions at Falkirk and Norwich City before taking on the managerial role at Livingston in 2018. He managed Livingston until 2020. Since then, he has held various coaching and management roles.
