Fred House (baseball)
Fred House (born April 27, 1978) is a former professional baseball player. He primarily played as an outfielder.
House was drafted by the Toronto Blue Jays in the 43rd round of the 1996 Major League Baseball draft. He did not sign with the Blue Jays.
He was later drafted by the Cincinnati Reds in the 17th round of the 1999 Major League Baseball draft and signed with the organization. He played in the Reds' minor league system from 1999 to 2004. His career included stints with teams such as the Clinton LumberKings, Dayton Dragons, Potomac Cannons, and Chattanooga Lookouts.
House reached as high as Double-A in the Reds organization but did not make it to the Major Leagues. After his time with the Reds, he continued to play professionally in independent leagues.
