Frank Thomas (bishop)

Frank Thomas is an American bishop in the Episcopal Church. He served as the XI Bishop of the Diocese of Southeast Florida from 2000 to 2007.

Prior to his consecration as bishop, Thomas served as a priest in various parishes within the Episcopal Church, demonstrating a commitment to pastoral care and community engagement. He was elected Bishop Coadjutor of Southeast Florida in 1999 and succeeded to the diocesan leadership the following year.

As bishop, Thomas focused on issues such as social justice, interfaith dialogue, and the spiritual development of the diocese. He advocated for the inclusion of marginalized groups within the church and actively worked to build bridges with other faith traditions.

Since retiring as Bishop of Southeast Florida, Thomas has remained active in the church and community, continuing to serve as a mentor and resource for clergy and lay leaders.
