Smaq (Gjakova)

Smaq is a neighborhood (lagje) located in the city of Gjakova, Kosovo. It is situated in the southern part of the city, near the city center. Smaq is known as one of the older, more established neighborhoods in Gjakova. The neighborhood is primarily residential and comprises a mixture of older and newer housing. Historically, Smaq has been home to diverse communities and played a vital role in the socio-cultural development of Gjakova. The neighborhood contains local shops, small businesses, and community spaces that serve the residents.
