Frank Rowland (cricketer)

Frank Rowland (1875-1917) was an English first-class cricketer who played for Derbyshire between 1896 and 1908.

Rowland was born in Derby. He made his debut for Derbyshire in the 1896 season against Lancashire, when he took two wickets in the match. He played sporadically over the next few seasons and achieved his best bowling performance in the 1900 season against Warwickshire, taking 6 for 58. He took five wickets in an innings on three occasions.

Rowland was a right-arm medium-pace bowler and took 103 first-class wickets at an average of 26.31 and a best performance of 6 for 58. He was a right-handed batsman and played 118 innings in 73 first-class matches with an average of 10.68 and a top score of 54.

He died in Derby.
