Kathleen Murphy (executive)

Kathleen Murphy is an American business executive. She is currently the president of Fidelity Investments, a financial services corporation. In this role, she oversees Fidelity's Workplace Investing and Personal Investing businesses, which include retirement services, brokerage, and financial planning.

Murphy joined Fidelity in 2009 and has held various leadership positions within the company, including head of retail brokerage and head of personal investing. Prior to Fidelity, she held leadership roles at ING (now Voya Financial) and Aetna Financial Services. She has been consistently ranked among the most powerful women in finance by publications such as American Banker and Forbes.
