Fox Next

Fox Next was a division of 21st Century Fox focused on creating, developing, and producing scripted and unscripted television series, feature films, and other media based on Fox properties, particularly those from Marvel Entertainment (prior to Disney's acquisition of 21st Century Fox). It was conceived as a means to leverage the intellectual property of Fox in expanded and innovative ways.

The division's mandate included both animation and live-action projects, targeting diverse audiences across various platforms. Fox Next aimed to create franchises and expand existing ones by generating new stories and formats. Its activities also encompassed virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) experiences, reflecting an interest in emerging entertainment technologies.

Following The Walt Disney Company's acquisition of 21st Century Fox in 2019, Fox Next was absorbed into other divisions within Disney. The fate of certain projects in development under Fox Next remained uncertain following the acquisition, with some being continued and others being shelved. Ultimately, the Fox Next brand ceased to exist as a distinct entity. The intellectual property it managed was integrated into other parts of Disney's entertainment ecosystem.
