Flight Check Squadron (JASDF)

The Flight Check Squadron (飛行点検隊, Hikou-tenken-tai) is a unit within the Japan Air Self-Defense Force (JASDF) responsible for the calibration and certification of air navigation aids (NAVAIDs) and instrument landing systems (ILS) throughout Japan.

The Squadron’s primary mission is to ensure the accuracy and reliability of these systems, which are critical for safe air operations.
