Finna (novella)

Finna is a 2020 science fiction novella by Nino Cipriani. It is the first book in the LitenVerse series, followed by the novella Defekt (2021) and the novel Homesick (2023).

The story centers around Ava and Jules, two non-binary employees at a sprawling, IKEA-esque furniture superstore called LitenVärld. When a customer becomes trapped in a mysterious pocket dimension accessed through a faulty piece of furniture, Ava and Jules are tasked with finding her and bringing her back. Their search leads them through a series of increasingly bizarre and unsettling alternate versions of the store, exploring themes of identity, relationships, and the anxieties of late-stage capitalism.

Finna is characterized by its blend of humor, horror, and social commentary.
