Farcașa
Farcașa is a commune located in Neamț County, Romania. It is situated in the western part of the county, within the Eastern Carpathian Mountains.
The commune is composed of five villages: Farcașa, Bușmei, Frumosu, Popești, and Stejaru. The administrative center is the village of Farcașa.
Geographically, the area is characterized by mountainous terrain, forests, and river valleys. The Bistrița River flows near the commune.
Economically, the region relies on agriculture (primarily animal husbandry and forestry), small-scale manufacturing, and tourism. The natural landscape offers opportunities for outdoor activities such as hiking and fishing.
