Ezcabarte
Ezcabarte is a municipality located in the Foral Community of Navarre, northern Spain. It is situated approximately 15 kilometers north of Pamplona, the capital of Navarre.
Ezcabarte comprises several villages or settlements (concejos), including Azoaín, Arre, Cildoz, Eusa, Garrués, Maquirriáin, Oricáin, and Sarasate.
The economy of Ezcabarte is largely based on agriculture and livestock farming, though some residents commute to Pamplona for work.
Historically, Ezcabarte, like many Navarrese municipalities, has roots stretching back to the medieval period. Its administrative structure and local customs are influenced by the traditional fueros (charters) of Navarre.
The area is characterized by a mix of rolling hills and arable land, typical of the Navarre landscape. It is a relatively rural area with a lower population density compared to the Pamplona metropolitan area.
