Coriky (album)
Coriky is the eponymous debut album by the American post-hardcore band Coriky, released in 2003 on Dischord Records. The album is characterized by its minimalist instrumentation, consisting of only bass, drums, and vocals. The lyrics, written and sung by members Ian MacKaye (bass/vocals), Amy Farina (drums/vocals), and Joe Lally (guitar/vocals; though there is no guitar on the album) address political and social issues. The album is known for its stripped-down sound, highlighting the interplay between the three musicians. It established the band's distinctive sound and cemented their place in the Dischord Records lineage. The album's themes include observations on consumerism, government, and personal relationships.
