Ron Reeves (gridiron football)
Ron Reeves (born November 14, 1963) is a former professional American and Canadian football player. Reeves played wide receiver in the National Football League (NFL) and the Canadian Football League (CFL).
Reeves played college football at Northern Arizona University. He was drafted by the Chicago Bears in the 10th round of the 1986 NFL Draft. He played for the Bears in 1987 and the Detroit Lions in 1987.
After his NFL career, Reeves played in the CFL for the Edmonton Eskimos in 1990 and the Calgary Stampeders in 1991 and 1992. He was known for his speed and deep-threat ability. His CFL career was relatively short but impactful, contributing to the Stampeders' offense in the early 1990s.
